The experience of pain varies from person to person and depends on the location of the tattoo. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, however in most cases clients comment it is more like a bothering sensation..
The healing time of a tattoo can vary depending on several factors, but generally takes about 2 weeks.
It is essential to follow the instructions we provide you with.
This involves keeping the area clean and hygienic, and applying the cream we suggest about 3 times a day. During the healing process the tattoo must be protected from the sun and it is also important not to go in the sea or swimming pool for the first few days. For holiday makers it is always best to get tattooed on one of the last days of your stay, so to be sure, book ahead and please don’t get sunburnt on the spot you want tattooed!!
Choosing a tattoo artist or tattoo studio is an important and personal decision.
Our advice is to first look at their portfolio, every tattoo artist has their own style, you can read reviews and opinions from other clients and visit the studio for a first contact.
Talk to the tattoo artist about your design and listen to their suggestions. A good artist is not only concerned about giving a good tattoo, but also about customer satisfaction. The confidence the tattoo artist inspires in you will be the key to a good tattoo experience.
For new piercings, it is recommended to use high quality, anti-allergenic jewellery. In the studio we use titanium or implant grade surgical steel for the first piercing pendant.
In the studio we have a minimum price which covers the cost of all material used in the tattoo process, and the work done by the tattoo artist.
Smaller tattoos are covered by our minimum price. From here on there are several factors to take into account when setting a price; the time it takes to do the tattoo, whether it is a colour tattoo or black, what details, the difficulty of the area… Bigger tattoos are charged by hour or session.
Piercing prices are established according to the type of piercing and the placement. The jewellery is included in the price.
The laser sessions also have a minimum price. The number of sessions depend on the size and complication of the tattoo to be removed.
Anesthetic creams change the texture of the skin, they can also irritate the area to be tattooed, so whenever possible we advise against using them.
However, it is up to the client to decide whether or not to use these types of creams.
